In 2005, Trangie has a population of approximately 1000 people.  Trangie is located almost in the center of NSW and is the ideal stopping point for people travelling west, who want to stay in a country town with great atmosphere and still be able to refuel and purchase suppplies for their travels.

Don't forget when you are planning your trip, that there are a variety of interesting sites within a short drive of Trangie, such as the Auscott and Namoi Cotton Gins, Woodbine Grove (olive oil), The Lime Grove, Swane's Rose Nursery, Tilley's Wines.
